Bertrandt develops vehicle bodies for the automotive industry, taking into account the high standards of functionality required. These bodies include the passenger cell, floor pan, front-end structure, roof module and closures. In addition to designing and integrating new and innovative concepts, Bertrandt develops complete vehicle bodies and acts as a system integrator to coordinate all the partners involved. Other responsibilities of the body developer include the precise definition of the strength, rigidity and crash behaviour of the bodywork. CFRP technologies are already used in internal body projects.
